Who said romance is dead? Nothing says true love more than sharing a quarter pounder with cheese at Mcdonalds with your other half on the most romantic day of the year.
That’s exactly what the music industry’s favorite couple Cardi B and Offset did on February 14th. The two celebs made an appearance at the Times Square Mcdonald’s branch on Valentine’s Day as part of the fast-food chain’s latest advert campaign.
McDonald’s launched a collab meal with the “boujee” couple which was announced via Twitter on Feb 12, just after it was made public in one of the Super Bowl Adverts. “While it might not be an official love language, our fans know a true sign of love is knowing your person’s go-to McDonald’s order,” explained the fast-food chain ahead of Valentine’s Day.
The advert featured the two recalling each other’s McDonald’s order- a telling sign of their true love. For Cardi, it’s always a cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and a large coke, whereas Offset’s go to order consists of a quarter pounder with cheese and a large Hi-C Orange Lavaburst. And of course, for dessert, it always has to be an apple pie.
Fans can now order the ‘The Cardi B & Offset meal’ from all restaurants for a limited time in the US and enjoy a romantic meal with their partner.
